Nosh opened up here in Rochester, NY in 2016. Chef Joe Zolnierowski and team came in with a bang and haven’t stopped executing creative, flavorful menus since!
If you have seen my social feed, you know that one of my obsessions is the taquitos at Nosh. Red chili beef hand-rolled in a crunchy tortilla, topped with pickled onions, cotija cheese and cilantro crema, laid atop mashed avocado. Anyone else wanna join me in a Hallelujah! Amen!

One of my favorite things to do is collaborate with other creatives and amazingly talented local chefs. There is something about the process of connecting for the first time, learning how others work and being part of a fun project to share out to all of you!
I have followed the social feed of Nue Chanthavongsay for quite some time now and admire his photography and videography style. He clearly is a creative in every way. His style evokes a sense, that as a viewer, you want to be involved, get in on the shot, laugh out loud. You feel inspired and uplifted. When we decided to connect and delve into a food adventure together, I was more than ready!
Where to go was the only question? My immediate thought was Nosh. Love the Chef. Love the food. Love the interior. And so Nosh it was! I was also elated to be with Nue for his FIRST experience there. I wanted to show him the dishes that I crave on the regular and have him meet the creatives behind the menu and restaurant.

We laughed. We feasted. We left with more to-go boxes than we could count. And we couldn’t be any happier.

If you are local, get a head start and make your Nosh reservation because you’re gonna need to fulfill those cravings after watching. Just sayin’.

Mmmm I’m salivating 😊
